Establishing
An Individual Escrow Account - Buyer
The documents needed to establish an Individual
Escrow Account by a buyer include:
- Completed
new account application
- Notarized or true copy of
unexpired passport or a notarized or true copy of your government-issued
national identification card
- Original reference letter from
two different banks. In the event you have only one bank relationship,
we will also accept an original letter of reference from your CPA
or registered account, or an original letter of reference from a
licensed attorney
- Original or true copy of a current major credit
card or utility bill showing your place of residence
- Notarized
or true copy of tax returns, and if not available, then a personal
Financial Statement (at least an Income Statement) or other proof
of regular income (such as pay slips)
- Copy of purchase
order or contract or other formal document showing evidence of ownership
- Signed
form W-9/W-8BEN, completed where applicable
- Additional documents may be
required in certain cases
